Treat your presentation like a conversation
A great way to be a more engaging and dynamic presenter is to shift your focus away from you and onto your audience instead.
People learn best in a safe and inclusive environment in which they can freely share their experiences, thoughts and opinions with one another.
Ask your audience questions throughout the presentation, and also at the end, in the form of a Question and Answer session.
Also, consider the use of quizzes, polls and surveys, and even the giving of prizes to make things fun and interesting!
People love to hear about each other’s experiences, and to learn from one other.
When you treat your presentation like a conversation, as opposed to a one-way download of facts, figures and information, the members of your audience are excited and happy to get actively involved in your presentation.
